BigPEmu is distributed simply as a zip file, because installers are for the weak and ad-ridden. Extract it anywhere you'd like (taking care to keep the directory structure intact) and it will function happily!
If you already have BigPEmu on your system, you can use the "Check for Updates" option in the menu under "Information", and the software will update itself to the latest version without the need for any manual intervention.

The corresponding developer build can be downloaded here. Developer builds are slower than normal builds and may have functional problems. Only use developer builds if you need developer features, such as Noesis debugger integration.
