AVALANCHEAVALANCHE is a third-person action game, set in the Final Fantasy VII universe. This is my most massive and intricate solo project to date, and development time was around 6 months. High-resolution screenshots, in-game video footage, and other downloadable resources are available on the AVALANCHE web site. You can also find the AVALANCHE/R-Cube SDK (with mesh2rdm) and various third-party AVALANCHE mods on the AVALANCHE download page.
Requirements: Windows PC with OpenGL

A short space shooter, featuring a now-dated version of the same R-Cube Engine featured in AVALANCHE. After a firstperson prelude, the action takes place in a topdown shooter setting. None of it makes any sense, and it will hurt you. It's also playable over Internet/LAN via TCP/IP with up to 16 players.

OpenGL Triple Triad, which uses the original Final Fantasy VIII PSX game assets to run straight off the CD (meaning the distribution is entirely legal and includes no assets at all). Supports online play against others via TCP/IP. All the rules from Triple Triad are there and you can toggle them on and off as you please before you start a game (the host decides the rules for multiplayer). As of Revision 5, it should even work with all other versions of FF8 as opposed to just the North American version, as advanced CRC checking functionality has been added for the case that the normal offsets do not point to valid graphics data.

This was my first real DirectDraw game. It's simple and cheesy, you basically use hatchets and try to hack at bears with them to earn points before you die. Creating custom levels is easy, and it supports multiplayer via TCP/IP (so you can hack at your friends with hatchets).
