There is a new version of mesh2rdm up, v2.03,
right here. Additionally, I made a GMO finder/ripper called GitMO, which you can get
here. The new mesh2rdm supports full skeleton and weight export for all GMO files, and has resolved a variety of geometry and texture parsing issues, also for GMO files.

Hi Rich, Thanks for this great tool! With it I was able to convert the models I was after into obj format, which is what I needed.
But I was wondering, if I wanted to Export just one of the sub the Dissidia character's Sub models(like one of Onion Knights other job classes), is there a way I can specify which sub model I would like to be converted?
Many thanks.

You've gotta export to SMD (instead of OBJ) to retain the skeletal and weighting data. Then you can move the upper arm bones to pose them however you'd like. It's that way because the default bone pose puts their arms at their sides for some reason, and I export the transformed vertex data for the default pose, rather than whatever the raw vertex data is.

The Dracula X stages don't actually have any textures in them. They contain empty texture chunk references, which are probably used to stream textures in from somewhere else during gameplay. Other GMO's contain non-GIM textures, which mesh2rdm doesn't support, as they could be anything. I've never seen Tales of Versus data, so I couldn't tell you which one of those situations is going on there.
mesh2rdm extracts/converts non-read-only files just fine, I use it on writable data on a regular basis. Not sure what's causing your situation. Could be a Vista virtual path issue or something.

Thank you so much for this incredible tool, it's been very useful for me.
I have one question and one observation that might help people having some difficulty on ripping the GMO files.
The obvious question is if you're going to improve the program and increase it's compatibility, along with mesh2rdm. I'm trying to rip from Tales of Versus and so far the gmo found didn't had textures (like the Castlevania X Chronicles' stages)
The observation is that the program only reads the 'read-only' files, but don't extracts from them. This can be easily solved by copying the files into another localization and editing it's proprieties by un-checking the "read only" box.
Thx
