After many months of delays, the new AVALANCHE is finally here. You can download the full distribution
here. If you already have v0.1-v0.4 of AVALANCHE and want to upgrade to this version (which is v0.5, by the way), you can get
this instead. A new AVALANCHE SDK has been released with this version, as well, which you can download
here. The new SDK includes numerous buildable sample maps and models (including new player models), and a very comprehensive guide on how to create and modify content for AVALANCHE.

Here's a list of what's new in this version.

I was reminded recently of the time half of the building burned down while I was working at Human Head. I actually managed to take some pictures of the destruction back then, while I was walking through the burned wreckage and assisting in pulling burned and smelly hardware out of the building.
It was sort of a nice and surreal experience. I never put the pictures up before, because it was a "sensitive" issue and the owners didn't want people making pictures of the destruction public. But it's been a couple years now, and I no longer work there. So here, look upon the destruction!

There is a new version of mesh2rdm up, v2.03,
right here. Additionally, I made a GMO finder/ripper called GitMO, which you can get
here. The new mesh2rdm supports full skeleton and weight export for all GMO files, and has resolved a variety of geometry and texture parsing issues, also for GMO files.

I've spent a good part of today scraping through mesh2rdm's GMO module in order to assemble this document. It contains all of the information I've put together thus far on GMO files.

I've added another format to mesh2rdm, GMO. You can download the new version of mesh2rdm (v1.94)
right here.
This version also adds the ability to export to WaveFront .obj files, since I'd just written a generic exporter for Scarlet anyway. In order to export your model to .obj instead of .rdm, just add -objout to your command line. Dragging and dropping supported models over the mesh2rdm.exe, or associating them with mesh2rdm.exe in Explorer, results in being able to view the model in an OpenGL preview window.

Scarlet is a resource viewer for the Windows/PC version of Silent Hill: Homecoming.
Click here to download it. I've been working on it in my down-time over the past week or so. I've managed to decipher the PAK formats fully, and I also support the LZO-compressed sub-PAK bits.
The tool is capable of viewing models/textures, playing sounds, and viewing most of the other game and media formats. It also exports all of the main media data to friendly media formats (sounds to .ogg, models to WaveFront .obj, textures to .dds, and so on).
